This Privacy Policy explains how Elevated Renovations & Construction LLC (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit elevatedrenovationsoh.com (the “Site”), request a quote through the Site, or contact us by phone, text, or email in connection with the Site.
We are a locally owned residential remodeling contractor serving Geauga, Lake, Ashtabula, eastern Cuyahoga, and Trumbull counties in Northeast Ohio. We built this Site to do one thing: let homeowners tell us about a project and ask for a free quote. We collect only what we need to respond to you and to understand how the Site is used.
This policy covers the Site only. Information we collect while performing work at your home, and the terms of any project, are governed by your written agreement with us.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
When you use the “Request Your Free Quote” form, we ask for:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The city where the project is located
- The type of project (selected from a list)
- A brief description of the project (optional, free text)
- How you would prefer we contact you (phone, text, or email)
Please don’t include information in the description field that you wouldn’t want us to have, such as security codes or financial details. We don’t need them to prepare a quote.
If you call, text, or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share, along with your phone number or email address.
1.2 Information collected automatically
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (described in Section 4) to collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, the approximate geographic area you are visiting from (derived from your IP address at the city or region level — Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses), your device and browser type, and interactions such as scrolling, clicking a phone number, starting the quote form, and submitting the quote form.
We have deliberately configured our Site so that your name, phone number, email address, city, and project description are never sent to Google Analytics. We also use Google’s data-redaction feature, which removes anything that looks like an email address from analytics data in your browser before it is transmitted.
Hosting and server logs. The Site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like most hosting providers, Netlify may record standard technical information about requests to the Site, including IP addresses, browser type, and timestamps, for security and operational purposes.
Fonts. The Site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, your IP address is transmitted to Google as part of that request. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
1.3 Information from other sources
We do not buy personal information about you or receive it from data brokers or lead-generation companies. The only third-party input to your quote request is an automated spam check (see Section 5).
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your quote request by phone, text message, or email, using the contact method you asked for
- Prepare, discuss, and follow up on your estimate
- Send you a confirmation email when we receive your request
- Keep a record of inquiries and customers for our own business administration
- Understand how the Site is used, which pages and services people are interested in, and whether the quote form is working, so we can improve the Site
- Protect the Site and our systems from spam, abuse, and security threats
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Website Terms
We do not use your quote-request information to build advertising profiles, and we do not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to (see Section 8).
3. Calls, texts, and email
When you submit a quote request, you are asking us to contact you about your project. We may do so by phone, text message, or email at the contact details you provide, with a preference for the method you selected. Texts and calls are placed by a member of our team, not by an automated dialing system. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages.
You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying “STOP” to a text, telling us on a call, or emailing us at the address in Section 13. We will honor your request within ten business days.
If we ever introduce automated or bulk text-message marketing, we will ask for your separate, express written consent first. Submitting a quote request is not consent to marketing texts.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. The Site does not set any cookies of its own. As of the effective date, the only cookies used on the Site are set by Google Analytics:

These are analytics cookies. The Site currently uses no advertising, remarketing, or social-media tracking cookies or pixels. The Site does not use local storage or similar browser storage.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the Site will still work, including the quote form. You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data on any website by installing Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Consent banners. Because we operate a regional business in Ohio and use only analytics cookies, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. If we add advertising technologies, or if the law that applies to us changes, we will update this section and, where required, ask for your consent.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals, because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and describe how we handle those signals.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent, trade, or share quote requests with other contractors, lead-generation services, or marketers. We share information only in the following situations:
Service providers who help us run the Site and respond to you. These companies process information on our behalf and under terms that restrict their use of it:

Legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others.
Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer and inquiry records may be transferred to the successor, who will be bound by this policy for information collected under it.
With your direction. For example, if you ask us to send your information to a supplier or a building department on your behalf.
A note on “sharing” for advertising. As of the effective date, we do not use advertising pixels or remarketing tools, and we do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under California law. Section 9 explains what will change if we add advertising technologies in the future.
6. Data retention
- Quote requests and correspondence. We keep quote requests, estimates, and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, perform any work you hire us for, maintain business and tax records, and resolve any disputes. Copies of quote requests exist in our email, in our Brevo contact list, and in the Netlify form archive; we delete archived submissions when they no longer serve a business purpose.
- Analytics data. Google Analytics event data associated with cookies and identifiers is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated reports that cannot identify any individual may be kept longer.
- Server logs. Retained by our hosting provider according to its own retention schedule.
You may ask us to delete your quote request at any time (Section 8). We will do so unless we need to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason, such as an active project or a dispute, in which case we will tell you.
7. Security
We use reputable providers that encrypt data in transit (the Site is served over HTTPS) and at rest. Access to quote requests is limited to the owners and team members who need it to respond to you, and the accounts that hold them are protected with strong, unique passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
8. Your choices and requests
- Contact preferences. Tell us how you’d like to be contacted on the quote form, or change it anytime by letting us know.
- Stop contact. Reply “STOP” to any text, tell us on a call, or email us. See Section 3.
- Marketing email. We only send marketing or newsletter emails to people who have asked for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
- Analytics. Use browser cookie settings or Google’s opt-out add-on (Section 4).
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from the Site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address in Section 13 with enough detail for us to find your record (usually the name, email, and phone number you submitted). We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request. We honor these requests voluntarily; they are not conditioned on any particular privacy law applying to you.
9. Future advertising technologies
As our business grows we may add tools such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, Microsoft Clarity (session analytics), call-tracking numbers, or embedded review and photo widgets from third-party services. Adding any of these would change what this policy describes. Before we do, we will:
- Update this policy and its effective date to name the tool, the cookies or identifiers it uses, what data it collects, and the purpose
- Add an “Advertising choices” section explaining how to opt out — for example through Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), Meta’s ad preferences, and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out at optout.aboutads.info
- Update the cookie table in Section 4 and the Site footer
- Where a law or a platform’s terms require it, ask for your consent before those tools run
Until this policy says otherwise, the Site uses no advertising or remarketing technologies.
10. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults who own or manage residential property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other websites
The Site links to third-party websites, such as county building departments, Google Business Profile and reviews, and (when available) our social-media pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. We encourage you to read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, note the change on this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy. Previous versions are available on request.
